Daniel Congré. Biography

Daniel Congré is a French footballer hailing from Guadeloupe who plays as a defender for Montpellier in the Ligue 1. He was born on 5 April 1985 in Toulouse, France.

Daniel was formed in the youth ranks of Toulouse FC in between 1996 and 2004. He made his first-team debut in the 2004/05 season. He pulled off his first professional season with 23 strong appearances. Congré gradually established himself as an undisputed starter for Toulouse and made a total of 164 league appearances during an eight-year spell with them. In June 2012, Congré signed for Montpellier HSC and plays for the team today.

In between 2004 and 2007, Daniel Congré earned 7 caps to the France U21 team.
