Daniel Pacheco Lobato is a Spanish striker of Alcorcón.
He trained in the Barcelona academy, starting performing for different youth clubs at the position of an attacking midfielder and winger. The footballer’s spectacular assists bound him with an ‘El Asesino’ (The Assassin) nickname. He moved to Liverpool in the summer of 2007 and began to make appearances for the club in February the same year, first in the reserve team though. After the contract ended in 2009, Daniel decided to extend it till 2012.
In 2009 he made his first sub appearance for the main team in the match against Fiorentina. On December 26 the player made his league debut in the match against Wolverhampton, coming on the pitch after 80 minutes of the game. That debut at Anfield became a serious event for the footballer.
In the middle of February 2010 the striker played 20 minutes of the Europa League game against Romanian side Unirea Urziceni and made an outstanding assist for David N’Gog, who managed to chip in the winner in that game.
Later he played on loan at Norwich City, Atletico Madrid, Rayo Vallecano and Huesca.
In 2013 Pacheco signed a permanent deal with Alcorcón.
The footballer became the top goalscorer of the European U19 by contributing four goals.
