Danilinho is a Brazilian attacking midfielder. He was born on 11 March 1987 in Ponta Porã, Brazil. In 2000 Danilinho began his career at the academy of América-SP. He also emerged through the youth system of Schalke 04.
Danilinho didn’t manage to start his senior career in Germany. In 2005 the footballer began playing at a professional level with América. In 2005 he changed his club moving to Santos.
The most successful stage of the player’s career is related to Atlético Mineiro. For the first time Danilinho joined this club in 2006. During two seasons the footballer helped his team achieve promotion to the Série A. Danilinho made 111 appearances for Atlético Mineiro overall and netted 29 goals.
Later on Danilinho spent several years in the Mexican championship showing himself to good advantage. In 2012 the footballer returned to Atlético Mineiro as a loan player.
In 2007 the midfielder featured in 4 games for the Brazil national U-20 team and notched 2 goals.
