Daniel Simpson is a back of QPR. He was born on 4 January 1987 in Salford, England.
In 2006 Daniel moved to the first team of Manchester United after being a trainee of the club’s academy, where he managed to play for several youth teams.
The same year the footballer was sent on a six-month loan to Royal Antwerp. Then, in the summer 2006, Simpson’s loan spell in the club was extended till the end of the 2006/2007 season and the back managed to take part in 16 matches of the Belgian side squad. In the summer 2007 he went on a six-month loan to Sunderland and made 14 appearances there. At the beginning of 2008 Daniel joined Ipswich Town for the same period as he played in the previous temporary team.
In the summer 2008 the English back was loaned to then Premier League club Blackburn. Simpson took part in 12 matches during one season as a reserve player. Daniel spent the 2009/2010 season in Newcastle United, where he made 20 appearances and netted one goal. The coaching staff was attracted by the style of the English footballer and they convinced the club’s management to buy Daniel from ‘The Red Devils’.
Simpson spent the 2010/2011 season as a permanent member of Newcastle United. The footballer was entrusted the place in the first team, where he had been performing as the key player of ‘The Magpies’ right flank.
Since 2013 Simpson has played for Queens Park Rangers.
