David López

David López Moreno is a midfielder of Brighton & Hove Albion. He was born on 10 September 1982 in Logroño, Spain.

David’s career took off in the academy of Osasuna, from where the footballer graduated to the main team in 2001. The midfielder’s début for the first squad came on 17 October 2004 in a 3–2 home victory over Albacete Balompié. Moreno found the net 11 times in 78 appearances for the club during six years and completed a move to Athletic Bilbao in 2007.

On 28 August 2007, the midfielder came on the field for ‘Los Leones’ for the first time. In his second season for the new club, David helped Athletic to avoid relegation by firing a goal against Recreativo de Huelva and netting goals versus Sporting de Gijón and Racing de Santander. The footballer took part in 118 fixtures and amassed 12 goals for the team during five years.

In the summer 2012, Moreno sealed a one-year deal with English side Brighton & Hove Albion.
