A Kenyan footballer Dennis Oguta Oliech acts as a striker for Ajaccio from Ligue 1. Dennis was born on 2 February 1985 in Mathare, Nairobi.
Oliech got to the academy of Mathare United in 2001. There he studied football in its minutest details and gained his first playing practice. In 2003 Dennis graduated from the academy and made his professional debut. It was at Al-Arabi, where the striker started his senior career. He performed for the squad during the years of 2003-2005. The stint was lined with 17 appearances and 12 goals amassed.
In 2005, Dennis got a chance to try himself with the French squad FC Nantes from Ligue 1. A contract for a term of four years was agreed and the footballer joined the team. He managed an exceptional performance scoring four goals in 32 matches for the French side.
From 2007 to 2012, Oliech defended the colors of Auxerre. That period turned to be the most successful for the player. Whilst performing for the squad, he was one of the first line-up. Altogether, Dennis produced 25 goals in 165 fixtures. In 2013, the striker was hired by Ajaccio.
In 2002, when Dennis Oliech was 17, his international debut for the Kenya full side took place. On international level, the footballer appeared for the first time in a game with Nigeria. He took part at the African Cup of Nations in 2004.
