Diego Fabbrini is a striker for Watford. He was born on July 31 1990 in San Giuliano Terme, Italy.
Diego’s youth career started in the early 2000s at Empoli youth academy after a successful performance in an exhibition match. Due to Diego’s bright performance and attacking style of play he was included in one of Empoli’s youth squads and participated in various youth championships. During many years Fabbrini trained hard to start off his professional career.
In 2009 Fabbrini signed his first professional contract with Empoli and joined the club’s first team. Since his debut 2009/10 season Fabbrini started featuring regularly in Empoli starting lineup, totaling 56 appearances and disappointing 3 goals.
In 2011 Diego continued his career as a striker at Empoli. Despite a small number of goals scored, Fabbrini was a capable assistant and an overall good asset for the club. In the summer of 2011 Serie A Udinese offered Empoli to purchase Diego. After short talks the clubs agreed to sign a co-ownership deal and Fabbrini left for Udinese. During the 2011/12 season at Bianconeri Diego made 14 appearances and netted 2 goals. In 2013 Diego served a loan at struggling Palermo. At the end of the season Fabbrini switched for Watford.
Since 2010 Diego Fabbrini made 12 appearances and scored 1 goal for Italy U-21.
