Dipsy Selolwane is a Botswana footballer born on 27 January 1978 in Gaborone. He currently plays as a midfielder for the South African Premier Soccer League club University of Pretoria.
Dipsy embarked on his professional career at the Botswana top-flight club Gaborone United in 1997. In 2001, he moved to Danish side Vejle BK and the following year signed for the American powerhouse Chicago Fire. After a short spell at American Real Salt Lake in 2005, Selolwane moved to South Africa to join Santos FC where he scored 13 goals in 45 matches for two seasons. In between 2008 and 2012, Selolwane played for PSL clubs Ajax Cape Town and Supersport United. In the summer 2012, he signed for University of Pretoria and plays for the club till today.
Since 1999, Dipsy Selolwane is regularly capped to the Botswana national team. He set up a record of scoring the first ever goal for Botswana in a major international tournament. It was a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations match against Guinea on 28 January 2012.
