Dudley Junior Campbell is a professional English footballer. He was born on November 12, 1981 in Hammersmith, England.
From 1987 till 1997 DJ Campbell trained at the academy of Queens Park Rangers FC and moved to the academy of Aston Villa FC, where he stayed from 1997 till 2000. By that time the young footballer had gained enough experience to join the world of senior football.
So, in 2000 DJ Campbell started his professional career at Chesham United FC, where he participated in 29 matches, having scored 16 goals over one season. In 2001 the footballer joined Stevenage Borough FC and made 25 appearances for the club. From 2002 till 2007 DJ Campbell performed for such clubs as Billericay Town FC, Yeading FC, Brentford FC and Birmingham City FC.
In 2007 the striker signed up with Leicester City FC and the club loaned him to Blackpool FC (2009 and 2010) and Derby County FC (2009-2010). Later the footballer joined Blackpool FC for the season of 2010/2011.
In the summer of 2011 Queens Park Rangers FC bought DJ Campbell for a long term. The footballer was loaned to Ipswich Town FC in 2012 and to Blackburn Rovers FC in 2013. Afterwards he signed a permanent deal with Rovers.
