Dmitri Kombarov represents FC Spartak Moscow as a left winger. He was born on 22 January 1987 in Moscow.
Dmitri began training at the age of five. In 1993, he entered Spartak football academy. He trained at the academy from 1993 to 2001. Thanks to his outstanding playing abilities, the scouts of Dynamo Moscow noticed the prospective youngster and offered him to train with the juniors of Dynamo. Dmitri accepted the invitation and moved to the club.
In 2006, Dmitri‘s junior career ended, when he was offered to join the senior squad of Dynamo. Dmitri craved for becoming a professional footballer, so he penned a long-term contract with the club. After being promoted to the senior squad he was quickly noticed by the head coach. Despite Kombarov’s lack of experience, he appeared on the pitch regularly. During his four-year stay at the club he became an established part of Dynamo, notching 12 goals in 132 games.
In 2010, Spartak Moscow noticed the young player and offered him a contract. In August 2010, Kombarov signed for Spartak and joined the first team. From 2010 to 2012 he made 54 appearances and scored 6 goals.
In February 2012, Dmitri made his international debut in the match against Denmark.
