Eden Hazard was born on 7 January 1991 in La Louvière and plays for Chelsea as an attacking midfielder.
In 1995, Eden began his football career for the Royal Stade Brainois youth club. Eden was playing for the club till 2003, then entered Tubize football academy, where he spent only two years. In 2005, Lille scouts visited the academy and were impressed by young midfielder. Eden caught their attention with his skills and they made a decision to invite the rising talent to their academy. Eden Hazard got a chance not to miss.
In 2007, Hazard finished his youth career by signing his first professional contract with Lille. The club manager trusted the attacking midfielder despite him being really young. From the very first season, Hazard has been playing either in the first team or substitutes his teammates during the match. From 1997, Eden played 130 games and netted 30 goals.
From 2006 till 2009, Eden Hazard was invited to the national teams U17 and U19: he played 26 games and scored 10 goals. From 2008 Eden plays for the Belgium national team: he capped 26 times and scored once.
