Vincenzo 'Enzo' Maresca is a football player, born in Italy in 1980. He came through the youth academies of A.C. Milan and Cagliari Calcio.
Maresca began his professional career at West Bromwich Albion, whom he joined in 1998. In January 2000 he came back to Italy signing for Juventus FC for a fee of £4.3 million. Shortly after his arrival he was sent to Bologna on loan and then to Piacenza Calcio.
In 2004 Maresca moved to Fiorentina on a co-ownership deal and half of his rights were left in Juventus. In the summer of 2005 he moved to Spain where he penned a four-year contract with Sevilla and there he immediately became a regular player, though later he lost his regular spot. During his stay with Sevilla team won UEFA Cup in 2005/06 and 2006/07, in 2006 they were UEFA Super Cup winners, in 2006/07 they won Copa del Rey.
Maresca left Spain for Greece joining Olympiacos F.C. and spent there the 2009/10 season. The 2010/11 season he trained with Fiorentina and in the summer of 2012 signed for Málaga. He helped the Spanish side to finish fourth which gave them a chance to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. On 30 August 2012 Maresca completed a move to U.C. Sampdoria for €2 million.
He represented Italy at all youth levels.
