Eshgin Guliyev. Biography

Eshgin Guliyev is an Azerbaijani footballer currently playing as a midfielder for Neftchi Baku. He was born on 11 December 1990 in Gardabani, Georgia.

Eshgin signed his first professional contract with the giant Azerbaijani club Neftchi Baku in 2006. After four seasons at the club, he was sent on loan to FC Absheron for the 2010/11 campaign. Following the 2011/12 season with Sumgayit, Guliyev returned to Neftchi and plays there to date.

Eshgin Guliyev was an international for Azerbaijan at various age levels. He represented his country during the 2009 UEFA European U-20 Championship. However, he cut a bad figure in a qualifier against Albania scoring an own goal in a 0-1 loss.
