Eyal Golasa was born on 7 October 1991 in Netanya, Israel. Golasa plays as a midfielder.
In 2001 Eyal started his junior career in Beitar Nes Tubruk. In the summer 2008 Golasa began playing professionally with Maccabi Haifa. The footballer made his Premier League debut against Bnei Yehuda on 21 September 2008. During the 2008/2009 season he participated in 26 official matches coming on mainly as a substitute. In the same season Golasa won the Israeli Premier League title.
In the 2009/2010 campaign the Israeli footballer began earning a place in the starting XI more often. Eyal showed himself to good advantage during the UEFA Champions League group stage which prompted interest from several European clubs such as Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
On 31 January 2011 it was announced that Golasa sealed a long-term deal with Italian side Lazio. The parties carried on the negotiations without Maccabi Haifa because the footballer was bound only by the interim agreement. This action was severely criticized by the community because it was considered unacceptable for the Israeli to play with the club notoriously known for its relations with fascists. But soon Golasa returned to Haifa and apologized to the club’s management and to his fans.
Since 2007 Eyal Golasa has been called up to different youth squads of the Israel national team. In 2010 the footballer gained his first cap for the Israel national football team.
