Fabricio Coloccini is a back of Newcastle United F.C. He was born on 22 January 1982 in Córdoba, Argentina. Nowadays he is the captain of Newcastle United and plays for the Argentina national team.
The Argentine footballer began his career in Argentinos Juniors. In 1998 he moved to Boca Juniors, took part in two games and scored one goal during two seasons.
In March 2000 Coloccini transferred to Milan, but made only one appearance for the club and was sent on a six-month loan to San Lorenzo. In 2001 Fabricio helped his temporary team to win the Clausura tournament by netting three goals in 19 matches. The same year the back went on loan to Deportivo Alavés, where he took part in 33 games and found the net six times.
From 2002 till 2003 Coloccini made 27 appearances for Atlético Madrid and moved to Villarreal for the 2003/2004 season, played 32 matches for the temporary club and went on to net one time.
In 2004 the Argentine back returned to his parent Milan, but did not take part in any matches for the club and was sold to Deportivo La Coruña in the winter 2005. He made 105 appearances for the new team and contributed four goals during four years.
In August 2008 Fabricio signed a five-year contract with Newcastle United and became a captain of ‘The Magpies’ in 2011.
