Ferdinando Sforzini is an Italian footballer, born in 1984. He began playing football at the youth team of Napoli and from there he was loaned to Lazio in 2002/03. When he graduated he went on his senior career with Sassuolo, playing in Serie C2.
In June 2005 Sforzini moved to Udinese and in two months he was sent to Verona, which played in Serie B. During his stay there Ferdinando made 35 appearances and scored 5 goals. In the summer of 2006 he was loaned to Modena, as well playing in Serie B. There he featured in 30 games throughout the season and scored 5 goals, then was loaned to Vicenza for half a season. In the second half of the 2007/08 season he played for Ravenna Calcio, but at the end of the season they faced relegation in spite of Sforzini’s 21 appearances and 9 goals.
The following loan period was at Grosseto. There he played for half a season and then was sent to Avellino, where he netted 7 goals in 12 games he played.
In the summer of 2009 Sforzini got a new loan-deal joining A.S. Bari shortly after the team had won promotion to Serie A. In 2010 he moved to Romania signing for CFR Cluj but returned to Italy in winter joining Grosseto. After a loan spell there he made his stay with Grosseto permanent. In 2013 Ferdinando Sforzini signed for Pescara.
