François Marque is a French professional defender. He was born in a French city of Troyes on July 31, 1983.
François started his football career at an amateur club La Chapelle RCS in 2002 where he appeared in 55 matches over 2 seasons. His remarkable skills drew the attention of Libourne FC and he signed for the club in 2004. However, the footballer was constantly left out and later in the season he moved to Switzerland to join Baulmes FC.
In 2007 the talented defender was noticed by a number of Swiss Super League clubs. After careful speculation and consideration about his future career François Marque took a decision to join Basel FC. During the 2007/2008 season he formed an effective defensive partnership with a Swedish football player Daniel Majstorović.
In 2010 the defender signed up with Grenoble Foot, where he remained one of the key players, and in 2011 he was transferred to Bastia SC. In 2012 the footballer and his team were promoted to Ligue 1 but Marque was soon released from the squad.
In October 2013 Marque joined a German side Saarbrucken.
