Fyodor Smolov is a winger for Dynamo Moscow. He was born on 9 February, 1990 in Saratov, Russia. Smolov started playing football at Master-Saturn Yegoryevsk youth academy and then switched to the one of more prestigious Russian side Saturn Moscow. Fyodor made his debut appearance in Russian Premier League in 2007. Later that year he accepted the offer of contract and joined Dynamo-2 Moscow. A year later, in 2008, Smolov advanced to the first team.
As part of Russian U-21 team, Smolov won Granatkin Memorial Cup in January 2008 and became top scorer of the championship.
In 2010 Smolov was loaned to Dutch Feyenoord and in August of that same year debuted in Eredivisie. During his stay at Feyenoord Fyodor played 11 matches and managed 1 goal.
In 2012 Dynamo Moscow loaned Smolov to Anzhi Makhachkala.
Since 2008 Fyodor Smolov is part of Russia U-21, with a budding personal statistics of 27 caps and 13 goals so far.
