Gary Madine is a striker of Sheffield Wednesday. He was born on 24 August 1990 in Gateshead, England.
In 2007, Gary graduated from the academy of Carlisle United and penned his first professional contract with the club. The footballer quickly adapted to the new level and showed decent performance, but failed to clinch a regular place in the starting line-up, which entailed his loan move to Rochdale in 2009. Madine made three appearances for the team during six months and sealed a temporary deal with Coventry City, where he took part in nine fixtures during half a year as well. In 2010, the striker went on loan to Chesterfield and featured in four matches for the club during his spell.
In 2011, Gary put pen to paper of a permanent deal with Sheffield Wednesday and became the pivot, who netted 26 goals in 84 games for ‘The Owls’ as of February 2013.
