Giovanni Pasquale is a left back for Udinese. He was born on 5 January 1982 in Venaria Reale, Italy.
Giovanni’s youth career started at Inter football academy where for many years he studied and played quite successfully for the club’s youth team.
In 2002 Giovanni agreed to join Internazionale first team. The young defender made a few appearances during his debut season at The Nerazzurri. During 3 seasons Pasquale was a backup defender at Inter. In 2005, though, the club decided to loan Pasquale so that he could gain a little experience. During the 2005/06 season Giovanni played for Siena and Parma on loan with a total of 36 matches for the two clubs.
In 2006 Giovanni’s contract with Inter expired and he joined Livorno on a 2-year contract. Since his debut 2006/07 season at Livorno, Pasquale was made a regular in the starting lineup. From 2006 to 2008 Giovanni made 67 appearances for Labronici.
In 2008 Pasquale transferred to his current Udinese. The left back started featuring regularly and thus stayed in optimal shape. By the 2011/12 season Giovanni lost a spot in the starting lineup but still represented Udinese at 2011/2012 UEFA Europa League. From 2008 Giovanni made 85 appearances and scored 3 goals for Udinese.
In 2013 he was loaned to Torino.
From 2002 to 2004 Giovanni Pasquale was capped 5 times for Italy U-21.
