Giray Kaçar. Biography

Giray Kaçar is a Turkish centre back. He was born on 15 March 1985 in Karaman, Turkey.

Kaçar is a product of Gençlerbirliği’s youth system. From 1993 to 2004 he featured for youth teams of different age groups. In 2004 the footballer penned his first senior contract with Hacettepe. During four years Giray made 114 appearances and netted 8 goals for this team. In 2008 the player changed his club moving to Trabzonspor. In the same year Giray Kaçar gained the first cap for the Turkey national team. The defender made his international debut against Sweden on 6 February 2008.

In 2014 Kacar made a move to Antalyaspor.
