Graham Dorrans is a midfielder of West Bromwich Albion. He was born on 5 May 1987 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Graham’s professional career started in 2005, when he became a player of Livingston. The young footballer trained in the club’s academy for some time and reached the level of skill that clinched him a place in the first team. Dorrans was sent on loan to Partick Thistle in his first season and scored five goals in 15 matches for the temporary club during one year. That was a brilliant result for the Scottish attacking midfielder, which could be a serious bid for becoming a regular in his parent Livingston.
A year on loan did a lot of good to the footballer. He got to the starting line-up of his parent club as soon as returned to it and netted 16 goals in 77 matches during two seasons.
In 2008 English side West Bromwich Albion took an interest in the Scottish midfielder and lodged a bid, which satisfied Livingston. Graham was offered to pen a contract that supposed his performance in England and he joined ‘The Baggies’ in the summer 2008. Dorrans became one of the pivots of midfield due to his workmanship, creativity and professionalism, which gave him an opportunity to get to the starting XI and fire 17 goals in 105 matches.
From 2007 till 2008, Graham took part in ten games of the Scotland national U-20 and U-21 team. From 2009 he was capped nine times for the full national squad.
