Grzegorz Krychowiak was born on 29 January 1990 in Poland.
Initially, the Pole had no inclination for football, he was endowed with creativeness. Nevertheless, his brother’s insistence led Grzegorz’s joining a sports academy. He started with playing for Orzeł Mrzeżyno, than he moved to Żaki 94 Kołobrzeg. In 2004, a young midfielder joined Stal Szczecin. But he stayed with the club for a year only and changed it for Arka Gdynia in 2005. The footballer’s senior career started at Bordeaux in 2008, when his first professional contract was penned.
Krychowiak had featured in 2 matches for Bordeaux, before he was sent on loan to Stade de Reims. Very quickly he clinched a place in the starting line-up. His two goals helped the French club to get a promotion into Ligue 2. Thanks to such a brilliant performance, a decision to extend his contract was taken. After all, the football player ended his contract with Bordeaux by serving a loan at Nantes. In the summer 2012, he became a part of Reims.
In the summer 2014 Krychowiak switched for Sevilla.
Grzegorz was invited to play for the Poland national team in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup. That was he, who scored the only goal of that match against Brazil. He was the youngest player in the lineup capped to the squad. On 14 December 2008, he debuted in an exhibition game with Serbia as a member of the senior national team of his motherland.
