Hedwiges Martinez-Maduro is a Dutch midfielder playing for PAOK and the Dutch national team.
He was born into a peculiar multiracial Caribbean family as his father was born in Aruba and his mother descends from Curaçao.
Maduro started his career at Ajax and his first game was against Roda JC on February 26, 2005.
Also he was called up to his national team where he was allowed to the field in three games with the first one on March 26, 2005 against Romania. Maduro also was one of those men who were picked to represent the Netherlands at the World Cup in Germany.
In 2008 Maduro signed for Valencia after his successful performance for Ajax in the Champions League. Also he took part in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing being involved in all four games.
After his contract with Valencia was over he signed for Sevilla FC on a free transfer in the summer of 2012.
In January 2014 Maduro dwitched for PAOK Saloniki.
Among the honours of the player one can name the Dutch Cup of 2005/06 and 2006/07, the Spanish Cup of 2007/08 and the third place of the Spanish League.
