Héldon Ramos was born on 14 November 1988 in Cape Verde.
Ramos began his football career in Batuque from Cape Verde where he developed his football skills playing for its youth squad from 2005 to 2006. In 2006 he continued his youth career at the academy of the Portuguese outfit Académica.
In 2007 Héldon Ramos signed his first professional contract with the Portuguese club Caniçal. During the 2007/2008 season he featured in 21 games. In 2008 Ramos changed his club moving to Fátima from Portugal. For two years he kicked 11 goals in 47 matches for this team. In August 2010 Héldon Ramos completed a deal with Marítimo. He scored his debut goal on 26 November 2011. In 2014 Heldon moved to Sporting Lisbon.
Since 2008 Héldon Ramos has been playing for the Cape Verde national team. He made his debut in 2009.
