Henri Bedimo plays in Lyon colours as a left defender. He was born on 4 June 1984 in Douala (Cameroon).
Henri’s professional career began in 2002 when he joined Grenoble. There he did not stay for long. To be precise Bedimo spent only one year with the club without appearing in a single match.
In 2002 Henri was called up to FC Toulouse with which the player signed a long-term contract and stayed in the club until 2006. Henri Bedimo was a reserve player but from time to time played in the major squad as a substitute. During three years Bedimo appeared in 23 matches.
In 2007 a Camerunese defender caught an eye of LB Châteauroux which made a decision to transfer Henri to their football club. After all the formalities were completed the footballer officially joined Châteauroux major team and signed a contract which was in force until 2010. Henri participated in numerous matches during those three years spent in the club. The head coach entrusted a place in the major squad to Bedimo in 75 games in which the footballer netted 4 goals.
In 2010 Henri moved to another French club RC Lens from Ligue 2. The player became an effective element of the team, the head coach was confident in Bedimo. For the time spent in the club Henri took part in 50 matches and scored 1 goal.
Henri’s bright performing attracted the attention of Ligue 1’s Montpellier. The club resolved to sign a four-year contract with the footballer in 2011 according to which Henri Bedimo currently plays at Montpellier HSC. Henri featured in 68 matches for the side. In the summer 2013 Bedimo joined Olympique Lyon.
Since 2009 Henri has been periodically called up to the Cameroon national football team matches.
