Idan Vered was born on 1 January 1989 in Ramat Gan, Israel. Vered plays as a right midfielder.
Idan went in for football when he was thirteen. In 2002 the young footballer entered the academy of Israeli club Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan. He played with the youth squad of his hometown academy until 2006. In 2007 Vered was offered to join the youth squad of Beitar Jerusalem.
In 2006 Idan started his senior career with Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan. In 2007 he changed his club moving to Beitar Jerusalem. In the first season Vered was used mainly as a substitute. However the footballer used any chance to show his worth and managed to prove himself as a reliable attacking midfielder. From 2007 to 2010 Idan Vered made 45 appearances for Beitar Jerusalem overall and netted 5 goals.
In the summer 2010 Idan moved to Maccabi Haifa. He has already scored 5 goals in more than 65 matches for this Israeli outfit. From 2007 to 2010 Idan Vered played for the Israel national U-21 football team.
