İlhan Eker. Biography

İlhan Eker is a Turkish defender currently playing for the Süper Lig club Kasımpaşa. He was born on 1 January 1983 in Balıkesir, Turkey.

The product of Balıkesirspor youth system, Eker signed his first professional contract with the club in 1999. In 2001, the footballer moved to Hacettepe Spor where he played 174 matches during a seven-year stint. In 2008, İlhan left for Gençlerbirliği amassing 38 appearances for two seasons at the club.

During the 2010/11 season İlhan featured for Fenerbahçe. In the middle of the season the footballer sustained a ligament injury and was not able to perform over a month. On 1 July 2011 he joined Kayserispor. Since 2012 the footballer has been playing for Kasımpaşa.
