Isaac Cuenca is a forward, born on April 27, 1990 in Reus, Spain.
Isaac began his youth career in 2001 when he first joined the RCD Espanyol academy where he played in the youth team matches. In 2003, Isaac became a student at the FC Barcelona academy which he joined after an ordinary trial of young footballers. In 2006, Cuenca joined his hometown football academy in Reus. Till 2008 he remained with the academy before joining the CF Damm youth team. In 2009, Isaac Cuenca got an opportunity to return to the FC Barcelona academy where he was to be educated till 2010.
In 2010, FC Barcelona offered the young forward a contract which was signed almost at once. However, first the footballer was on loan in CE Sabadell FC. In the 2010/11 season Isaac took part almost in all games with the total of 32 matches played and 4 goals scored.
The loan over in 2011, Isaac joined the FC Barcelona reserve team where he played 6 matches and scored 2 goals. And already in the summer 2011, Cuenca became the club’s main squad player. In 2013 he was sent on loan to Ajax Amsterdam.
In the summer 2014 Cuenca penned a permanent deal with Deportivo La Coruna.
In 2011, the footballer played in 2 matches of the Spain U-21 national team. In 2012 Cuenca played 1 match for the Spain U-23 national team.
