Jack Hobbs is a defender, born on 18 August 1988 in Portsmouth, England.
From 1999 till 2004, Jack trained in the academy of Lincoln City and managed to get ready for a senior level. In 2004, the footballer penned a professional contract with the club, but made only one appearance for the first squad during one season. However, English side Liverpool did not think that was a problem and secured Hobbs’s services on permanent basis in the summer 2005. The defender took part in two fixtures for the new team during three years and went on loan to Scunthorpe United, where he featured in nine games and netted one goal. In the summer 2008, Jack sealed a temporary deal with Leicester City and made 44 appearances for the club during one season.
In 2009, the management of ‘The Foxes’ decided to secure the footballer’s services on permanent basis and saw him feature in 70 matches during one year and a half. In 2011, Hobbs was loaned out to Hull City, which wanted to see the defender in action before considering his transfer. Jack made stellar display and dissipated all doubts of the management. In the summer 2011, the footballer put pen to paper of a contract with Hull City and fired one goal in 78 fixtures for the club before being loaned to Nottingham Forest for the season 2013/2014. In January 2014 Hobbs signed a permanent deal with The Foresters.
From 2007 till 2008, Hobbs was capped three times and contributed one goal for the England national U-19 squad.
