Jairo. Biography

Jairo Rodrigues is a Brazilian defender, born on 31 December 1992. Jairo’s most advantageous position is centre back.

Jairo grew up in the youth system of Goiás EC and the legendary Brazilian academy of Santos. In 2011, Rodrigues joined América T.O. launching his senior career. Having failed to get into the professional team of the Red and Whites, Jairo, like many other Brazilian footballers, decided to try his fortune overseas.

In July 2012, he signed for Botev Vratsa in Bulgaria. Rodrigues made his league debut in August 2012 and quickly became an undisputed starter for the club.
