Jamie Darryl O’Hara is a midfielder of Wolverhampton Wanderers. He was born on 25 September 1986 in Dartford, England.
In 1998, Jamie came on a trial to the academy of London side Arsenal and impressed the coaching staff, which earned him an invitation to a junior squad of ‘The Gunners’. The footballer trained with the team during five years and completed a move to the youth system of Tottenham Hotspur, where he spent two years and got ready for a senior start.
In 2005, O’Hara penned his first professional contract and stayed at White Hart Lane till 2006, when he was sent on loan to Chesterfield. The midfielder made 19 appearances and netted five goals for the team before sealing a temporary deal with Millwall, where he fired two goals in 14 fixtures during six months. From 2009 till 2011, Jamie performed for his parent Tottenham and on loan at Portsmouth and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The management of the latter decided to secure the footballer’s services on permanent basis and saw O’Hara score two times in 19 games for ‘The Wolves’ as of December 2012.
From 2008 till 2009, the midfielder was capped seven times for the England national U-21 squad.
