Javier Hernández is a forward of Manchester United. He was born on 1 June 1988 in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Javier began his career in 1997, when he joined Guadalajara. At the beginning the young Mexican was sent to the youth academy, where he started to learn theoretical and practical sides of football. Later Javier began to take an active part in the youth teams, corresponding to his age. He had been a trainee for nine years before offered to play in the first team.
In 2006 Javier Hernández signed a professional contract with Guadalajara and performed for the club till 2010. During four years of his performance Javier was not a regular, but constantly took part in half of all matches. He either made starts or came as a substitute. Javier made 64 appearances and scored 26 goals for the team.
In 2010 Manchester United F.C. took an interest in the young forward, who showed an outstanding play, the vision of the field and superb skills. The club sent its agent that discussed all terms of the transfer in short time. The transfer fee was not disclosed, but, as it happens with young talents, it should have been really huge. The young footballer accepted the offer and signed a long-term contract. From 2010 Javier has played over 100 games for MU and scored more than 50 goals.
In 2007 the Mexican footballer was capped five times for the Mexico national U-20 team and contributed a goal. From 2009 Hernández has been taking an active part in the matches of the senior Mexico squad.
