A Spanish-Philippino footballer Javier Patiño Lachica was born on 14 February 1988 in San Sebastián de los Reyes.
After progressing on Alcobendas’s youth categories, Patiño Lachica debuted for the club’s senior squad. In 2007, a contract was penned and the young striker joined the main eleven. His performance during the 2007/2008 season turned to be very successful. The footballer scored seven goals in 23 appearances for Alcobendas.
In 2008, Javier was scouted by S.S. Reyes. The striker soon gained a reputation as a promising goal scoring player. He produced an exceptional performance during the spell. Altogether, he appeared 69 times and amassed 26 goals.
In the summer 2011, a move to Córdoba took place. Javier managed to impress the head coach and soon got the spot in the starting team. His very first season was lined with eight goals netted in 35 matches. In 2013, the striker agreed on a temporary deal with Xerez.
At the end of the loan spell Patiño signed a permanent contract with a Thai club Buriram United.
