Jeff Hendrick is a midfielder of Derby County. He was born on 31 January 1992 in Dublin, Ireland.
Jeff performed for various Irish academies during his youth career, but eventually opted for the youth system of English side Derby County in 2007. The footballer trained with the club during three years and got ready for a professional start, as he managed to gain optimal shape and develop the key qualities, which helped Hendrick to show impressing performance for the youth squad.
In 2010, the midfielder penned his first senior four-year contract with Derby County. Jeff was given a lot of chances to come on the pitch, which kept him perfectly fit. The following season, the head coach continued to give the footballer playing time, because he saw Hendrick was progressing rapidly. The midfielder took part in 65 matches and found the net four times for the club as of December 2012.
From 2009 till 2011, Jeff featured in ten games and contributed one goal for the Republic of Ireland national U-19 squad. From 2011, the footballer has been capped five times for the national U-21 team.
