A Spanish footballer Jeffrén Isaac Suárez Bermúdez plays as a forward. He was born on 20 January 1988 in Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela.
Jeffrén started trying his hand at football in 2003 with the youth team of Tenerife. He spent a year at the club’s academy before he was noticed by the scouts of Barcelona. In 2004 he was signed for the youth department of his new club. He studied there for two years, before being promoted to Barcelona C in 2006. He made seven appearances and scored 1 goal for the reserves. From this very year he started making rare appearances for Barcelona B. With that team he spent three years. Over the course of that time, Jeffrén featured in 82 fixtures and netted 14 goals.
Finally, in 2008 he got a full scale start in his professional career. The club’s management promoted the forward to the first team, where he spent three years. In total, he made 22 appearances and amassed three goals.
In 2011, Jeffrén left Barcelona, where, all in all, seven years of his life had passed. A new contract with Sporting was signed for a fee of €3.75 million. The footballer made 35 appearances for the team and moved to Real Valladoolid in January 2014.
Since 2004 till 2011, the Spaniard had been representing the Spain youth national team at the U-16, U-17, U-19, U-20 and U-21 levels. In total he was called up 30 times, scoring seven goals for the squad.
