John Sullivan is a goalkeeper of Portsmouth. He was born on 8 March 1988 in Sompting, England.
In 2005, John graduated from the academy of Brighton and Hove Albion and put pen to paper of a professional contract with the club. The footballer understood he would not get playing practice at once, but he continued to work hard in order to clinch a place in the starting XI one day.
Sullivan made only 13 appearances for ‘The Seagulls’ during four years and completed a move to Millwall in 2009. The keeper sat on the substitutes’ bench again and spent one year with ‘The Lions’ before being sent on loan to Yeovil Town, where he took part in 13 fixtures during six months.
In January 2011, John penned a contract with Charlton Athletic, but the management of the new club loaned him out to Colchester United, where the footballer featured in four games during his spell. After returning to ‘The Addicks’, Sullivan took his tally to three league appearances as of February 2013.
In May 2013 Sullivan joined Portsmouth.
