Jorge Enríquez García is a Mexican defensive midfielder. He’s part of the Mexico national squad.
Jorge was born on 8 January 1991 in Mexicali, Mexico. He’s a product of Guadalajara’s youth system. In 2009 Enríquez made it to the main team, however he spent most of the time with the youth team. In 2010 Guadalajara reached the final of the Copa Libertadores, however Enríquez stayed on the bench during crucial matches.
Jorge Enríquez was a key member of the Mexico national U-20 and U-23 football teams in the early 2010s. In 2011 he became a bronze medallist of the FIFA U-20 World Cup and won the gold medal at the Pan-American Games. In 2012 the midfielder helped the national team win a prestigious junior tournament in Toulon for the first time. Moreover, Enríquez is the winner of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He featured in all the six matches of his team and netted a goal in the quarter-finals.
