Juan Jesus is a center back for Internazionale Milano. He was born on 10 June 1991 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
Juan’s youth career started in 2006 at Sport Club Internacional youth academy. Despite his ‘advanced’ age Juan was a perspective player. He developed his skills rapidly and quickly won the sympathy of the coaching staff. By 2009 Juan Jesus was ready to pass on to the pro stage of Brazilian football.
In 2009 the young defender was offered to join Internacional first team. Juan accepted the offer and played for the club until 2012. Due to severe competition within the team Juan didn’t get much playing time but worked hard to elaborate his skills. Eventually Jesus failed to get into the starting lineup having played 25 games for Internacional.
In the second half of 2011 Italian Inter made an official request for acquiring the Brazilian defender from Internacional. In January 2012, after short talks, the clubs agreed on the transfer terms and Juan signed a long-term contract with Inter. Jesus rarely features in Inter starting lineup. This is temporary though because the club is in the process of preparing young generation to rejuvenate its aging roster.
From 2009 to 2011 Juan Jesus has been capped 17 times for the Brazilian U-20 team. Since 2012 Juan has been called up to represent the Brazilian national team with 4 caps so far.
