Kengo Nakamura is a Japanese midfielder who plays for the J. League side Kawasaki Frontale. He was born on 31 October 1980 in Kodaira, Japan.
Kengo embarked on his professional career at Kawasaki Frontale in 2003 and plays for the team since then. During his first two seasons at the club they competed in the J. League Division 2. But Nakamura shortly established himself as a big asset for the club and helped them to break into the top flight in the 2005 season. Nakamura was a part of the starting-eleven who won the J-League Best eleven award five seasons in a row since 2006 till 2010. Overall, the midfielder scored 62 goals in 393 appearances in all competitions for Kawasaki Frontale in between 2003 and 2013.
Since 2006, Kengo Nakamura is capped to the Japan national team.
