Kenny Lala. Biography

A French footballer Kenny Lala plays at the position of defender for Valenciennes FC.

Kenny began his youth career playing for local amateur club ES Parisienne. Aged 17 he signed his first contract with semi-professional FC Paris. Before signing of the contract Lala went through tryouts at such professional clubs as Lille OSC, Caen and Valenciennes. After 2 seasons spent at FC Paris the player was promoted to the senior team for the 2010/11 season. As a result of 33 successful appearances during the season the defender received several call ups from Ligue 1 clubs. In the first place Kenny considered cooperation with Valenciennes. That is why on 15 June 2011 FC Paris reached an agreement with Valenciennes on the issue of Lala’s transfer. The player agreed to a 4-year contract with the new club.

The club’s manager immediately placed the defender in the first team. On 6 November 2011 he made his club debut in the match against Rennes appearing as a substitute.
