Kevin James McKenna is a footballer from Canada, born in 1980. He currently plays for 1. FC Köln as a defender.
He came through the youth teams of Calgary Foothills and Calgary Dinos before he moved to German team Energie Cottbus in 1998. In 2001 McKenna joined the Scottish side Heart of Midlothian initially on loan and then made his deal permanent. He helped Hearts with 9 goals in 35 matches in the 2001/02 season. He stayed with the club until 2005 and all in all featured in 114 league appearances.
In 2005 McKenna returned to Energie Cottbus and played for them until his move to 1. FC Köln in the summer of 2007. He made his first appearance for the German team on 10 August 2007, in the match against FC St. Pauli which ended in a 2-0 victory. On 5 October 2007 he netted his first goal for the team.
Kevin McKenna is a Canadian international. He earned his first international cap for the country in a friendly game against Trinidad and Tobago in May 2000.
