Kew Jaliens is a Dutch defender currently playing for Wisła Kraków in the Polish Ekstraklasa. He was born on 15 September 1978 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Kew embarked on his professional career at Sparta Rotterdam in 1997 where he played for two years amassing 68 league appearances. In 1999, Jaliens moved to Willem II where his career really took off. He made a total of 147 appearances during a five-year spell at the club. Since 2004 till 2011, the defender played for a prominent Eredivisie side AZ. He had a glorious 2009 year as he helped his team to win the Eredivisie title and the Dutch Super Cup. In January 2011, Jaliens signed for Polish club Wisła Kraków and recorded the Ekstraklasa title with them in his debut season.
Kew Jaliens was awarded 10 caps to the Netherlands national team in 2006 and 2007. He took part the 2006 FIFA World Cup finals in Germany.
