Knowledge Musona was born on 21 June 1990 in Norton. He is a Zimbabwean football player.
As a youth, Musona played for a few local clubs such as Manyame FC and Haka United. He played in Aces Youth Soccer Academy between 2006 and 2009, and joined a South African football club Kaizer Chiefs after that. Knowledge played in the first team mainly as a substitute. However, he managed to appear in 21 matches in the first season, later he appeared in 28 games. In total, Musona netted 20 goals for the club and won the PSL Club Rookie of the Year award in July 2010.
Thanks to his good performances, a lot of European football clubs such as Celtic, Serbian FK Partizan and German TSG 1899 Hoffenheim took interest in Musona. With the latter the footballer signed a five-year contract in 2011. On 17 September 2011, Musona played his first match for the club against Wolfsburg, coming in as a substitute for Chinedu Obasi in the 63rd minute. That match was a 3-1 win. Later on Musona was loaned out to FC Augsburg and South African champions Kaizer Chiefs.
On 3 March 2010, Knowledge Musona made his debut for the Zimbabwean national team in the match against South Africa. Seven months later, he netted his first goal in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in a match against Liberia, shortly after he scored his first brace. The forward plays superbly at the national level, as he netted 8 goals in 11 matches as of June 2012.
