Kyrylo Petrov is a central midfielder for FC Hoverla Uzhhorod that competes in the Ukrainian Premier League. He was born on 22 June 1990 in Kiev, Ukraine.
In 2004, the young player Petrov underwent trials at FC Dynamo Kyiv and was invited to the club’s academy where he subsequently became a professional footballer. In 2006 Kyrylo was promoted to the second team of Dynamo, where he performed well till 2009, earning 50 appearances and netting 3 goals.
Petrov was given his first taste of first-team action in 2010, when he was invited to the main squad.
