A Brazilian footballer Leonardo Navacchio acts as a goalkeeper for São Paulo. Navacchio was born on 28 December 1992 in Piacatu. His father, a former professional player, was a huge influence on small Leo and very soon the boy decided to become a footballer. He set a goal to turn into even a better footballer than his favorite player Rogério Mücke Ceni.
In 2005, Leonardo was selected for the junior team of São Paulo, where Ceni plays. In 2006, he won the Nike World Club Cup at U-14 level. In 2007, he participated in the FIFA World Youth Chapionship. The goalkeeper also won the 2010 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior under the club’s flag.
In 2011, Navacchio was promoted to the club’s senior side.
