Luke Shaw is a left back, born on 12 July 1995 in Kingston upon Thames, England.
In 2003 Luke got to the academy of Southampton and did not leave it till the end of his junior career. The footballer managed to play for almost all youth teams, where he became one of the best defenders. By the end of 2011, Shaw passed preliminary tests, which were aimed at revealing the level of his readiness for the beginning of the senior career. Luke moved to the main team of the club at the age of 16.
At the beginning of 2012, the footballer penned a contract and turned into on of the most promising young defenders in England under Mauricio Pochettino. During two seasons with Southampton Shaw made 67 appearances and attracted attention from English top clubs.
In the summer 2014 Manchester United snapped the starlet in a deal worth around £30 million as a long-term replacement for Patrice Evra.
In 2011 the footballer was capped 14 times and contributed two goals for the England national U-16 and U-17 teams. In 2014 Luke Shaw got his first cap for England senior team and made his debut at Brazil World Cup.
