Mahamane Traoré is a Malian footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for the French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice. He was born on 31 August 1988 in Bamako, Mali.
Mahamane began his youth career at his hometown club Cercle Olympique in 2004. He signed his first professional contract with the French team OGC Nice in 2005 and plays there since then except for two seasons spent on loan at Metz.
Mahamane Traoré is capped to the Mali national team since 2005. He scored his maiden goal for the country in a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Cape Verde.
