Marco Davide Faraoni is a full back for Watford. He was born on 25 October 1991 in Bracciano, Italy.
Marco’s youth career started in 2004 at Lazio youth academy. Faraoni studied at the Biancazzurri for 6 years and was one of the club’s best students. Marco successfully played for Lazio youth team including in the Italian youth championship. After 6 years of brilliant performance with Lazio Marco caught the eye of Inter scouts. In the summer of 2010, after short talks between Lazio and Inter, Faraoni was transferred to the Nerazzurri youth academy.
In 2011 Marco Faraoni’s youth career came to an end as he was offered to join the club’s senior squad and signed his first professional contract. Starting from his debut 2011/12 season Marco began featuring as both one of the club’s starting 11 and as a substitute. After the end of the season he moved to Udinese. In the summer 2013 the youngster moved to England and joined a Championship outfit Watford.
From 2006 to 2009 Marco has been capped 21 times playing for Italy U-16, U-17 and U-18 teams. From 2008 to 2011 Faraoni represented Italian U-19 and U-20 teams with 7 caps in total. Starting 2010 Marco Faraoni has been periodically called up to play for Italy U-21 with 6 caps so far.
