Martin Lanig is a German midfielder currently playing for Eintracht Frankfurt in the German top flight. He was born on 11 July 1984 in Bad Mergentheim, Germany.
Martin embarked on his professional career at 1899 Hoffenheim in 2003 where he initially played for their reserve squad. In 2006, he moved to Greuther Fürth in the second division and in 2008, Lanig enjoyed a meteoric rise signing for a Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart. In between 2010 and 2012, he was a regular starter for FC Köln amassing 59 league matches for that time. In the 2012/13 season, Lanig switched to Eintracht Frankfurt and plays for the team today.
